August 13-15, 1999.
This tournament was a Provincial Qualifier Tournament with the top 4 of 10 teams recieving a berth in the 99 Provincials. The Penetrators easily won their first two games, playing only the first 5 innings due to the 12 run mercy rule.
In the third game the Penetrators lost a tough one, after leading all game they lost to the eventual tournament champions in the last inning on a homerun.
In the fourth game the Penetrators again lead all game only to give up a game tying 2 run homer with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the last inning. The Penetrators ending up losing 9-7 in extra innings. After such a great season up to this point, the team had hopes of qualifying for the Provincials but ended up placing 5th of 10 teams. The Penetrators are just a first year team and will make a serious run at the Provincials next year.
